Intro 00:00 to 2:09 Powershell Methods 2:09 to 4:29 Powershell script not working ;sadge; 4:29 to 5:33 Task Manger method 5:33 to 6:53 The Sims Medieval Not Working 6:53 to 7:15 The Sims Medieval Powershell 7:15 to 8:07 The Sims Medieval Task Manager 8:07 to 9:10 Outro 9:10 TS3 Powershell Script: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-I... TSM Powershell Script: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-I... If you aren't able to understand the video then you can read it! Powershell Method: To use the powershell method you will need to copy and paste this exact script which I got from the post above, (echo "Launch Sims 3..." do{ $TS3 = Get-Process TS3, TS3W -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue }until($TS3) $Affinity=$TS3.ProcessorAffinity $TS3.ProcessorAffinity=1 Start-Sleep -s 5 $TS3.ProcessorAffinity=$Affinity) Paste this into notepad without the brackets and save it as something like "TS3Script.ps1" YOU have to name it with .ps1 or else it won't work. After saving the file left click it and "click run with powershell" after clicking that it should pop up with a blue screen that says "Launching Sims 3...." after that you need to turn on The Sims 3 Launcher then click play and the game should load and the window should disappear. Then, you're done! Go and play your game! Remember you will need to turn on the script every time you play the sims 3 or download any CC through the launcher. If it doesn't work then please read ahead. Task Manager Method: Okay, so you're getting the red text huh? Don't worry, I've been there too, let's fix it! So if the script isn't working for ya, let's do this my way. Turn on The Sims 3 Launcher along with the task manager before clicking play, go to details on the Task Manger and scroll down and look for "Sims3Launcher.exe" when you find it, left click it and click "Set affinity" once that window pops up unselect the "All processers" box then check the box that says "CPU 1". After doing that, click OK and minimize the task manager and click play. Once the game loads up, go back to the task manager and check the "All processers" box and turn off the task manager then enjoy your game! You'll have to do this every time you wanna play the game which sucks but we just blame EA for that one. Repeat these steps with The Sims Medieval but instead of using the task manager method on the launcher you have to use it on Origin.exe instead since TSM does not use a launcher. I hope this helped, thanks for watching!
