This webinar features Professor Peter Scarborough, who leads the Sustainable Healthy Food Group in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences at the University of Oxford and is the director and a theme lead on the THRIVING Food Futures project. In this talk titled “From nutrient profiling to the environmental impact of diets: lessons learned about policy impact of research”, Prof Scarborough discusses his career journey and what he has learned from mentors and experience about how to maximise the impact of our research. He will discuss case studies including nutrient profiling, the Soft Drinks Industry Levy and shifting the debate about environmental sustainability of food systems.
