Kyrgyzstan to Host World Nomad Games 2026 — A Global Celebration of Nomadic Heritage BISHKEK — **Kyrgyzstan will host the VI World Nomad Games from **31 August to 6 September 2026, organizers have confirmed. The opening ceremony will take place in Bishkek, with the main competitions and closing events held in the Issyk-Kul region, including Cholpon-Ata and other cultural venues. Organizers expect participants and delegations from around the world, with traditional horseback sports such as kok-boru and kokpar, ethnic wrestling, archery, hunting-related competitions and other nomadic disciplines featured throughout the week-long program.
