The band draws inspiration from diverse musical styles across eras and cultures, crafting a sound that reflects their ongoing musical journey. Daniele Sepe (Sax/Flute) Described by Kishida as his most respected living composer, Daniele Sepe is an Italian composer and jazz musician from Naples. Eager to collaborate, Kishida approached Sepe directly, and in April 2024, Kishida, Sato Masashi and their team traveled to Naples. Under Sepe's direction, they recorded the Neapolitan classic La Palummella (The Butterfly) and QURULI's 2011 song Camel('Na Storia) alongside local musicians. These recordings were released in October, and Sepe, along with his seven-piece band Galactic Syndicate, performed at QURULI's Kyoto Music Expo on October 12 and 13. Born in the Posillipo area of Naples in 1960, Daniele Sepe's music crosses genres, blending jazz, Neapolitan traditional music, reggae, folk, world music, rock, fusion, blues, Mediterranean music and classical. He also composes for theater, ballet and film, with a style described as "Zappa-esque" and universal. As of 2024, he has released 36 albums.
