"Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" by Don Raye and Hughie Prince (1941), Hauptwerk Hereford Cathedral Organ Various instruments from EastWest from an anonymous midi file According to Wikipedia: ---------------------------------------------------------- "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" was a major hit for The Andrews Sisters and an iconic World War II tune. This song can be considered an early jump blues recording. The song is ranked #6 on Songs of the Century. The song was written by Don Raye and Hughie Prince, and was recorded at Decca's Hollywood studios on January 2, 1941, nearly a year before the United States entered World War II but after the start of a peacetime draft to expand the armed forces in anticipation of American involvement. ---------------------------------------------------------- I remember listening to this tune on the radio as sung by the Andrews Sisters way back when I was a little kid. At the top left is an EastWest Trumpet; At the bottom left is an EastWest Drum Kit; the top right is the Hauptwerk Hereford organ; and the bottom right is an EastWest Upright Bass.. ---------------------------------------------------------- (Headphones will give the best listening results.)
