Join Suzi Perez, Vinmaps owner and wine lover as she tastes two sparkling wines from Treveri Cellars, a renowned sparkling wine house in Washington's Yakima Valley American Viticultural Area. During the video Suzi chats a little bit about the background of Treveri Cellars, a world-class sparkling wine producer, including highlights about Expert Winemaker Juergen Grieb. Juergen brings over 30 years of expertise to the wine cellar with a focus on traditional method sparkling wine. Juergen and his wife Julie, opened the winery in 1980, in Wapato, within the famous Yakima Valley AVA. A family-owned and operated winery, their intention was to put: "..Sparkling Wines on the Washington Map." They have more than succeeded and have received numerous accolades and awards throughout the years for their wines made in the Methode Traditionnelle. Juergen, Head Winemaker, crafts these wonderful wines alongside his son Christian, with a focus on 100% varietal sparkling wines. The winery's portfolio also includes non-traditional varieties such as Riesling and Muller-Thurgau.
