This Bharatanatyam classical dance of India dates back over 2000 years. The Bharatanatyam dance is one of the eight recognized classical dance forms in India. In a Bharatanatyam dance performance, a Bharatanatyam classical dancer will present a number of pieces that showcase a variety of compositional forms. The piece presented here is a Thillana. Tillana song is an integral part of dance repertoire as well as vocal and instrumental concerts.
