Recipe ⤵️ Get lots of compliments from your friends/family with this insanely easy & flaky biscuit recipe 🥐🤍 Ingredients: 3 1/2 c flour 3 tsp honey 2 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp baking soda 2 tsp salt 1 c + 1 tbsp buttermilk 2 sticks unsalted butter Egg wash: 1 egg + 1 tbsp milk Directions: 1. Freeze your butter, mixing bowl, and measuring cups. Keep your buttermilk & butter cold until you need them. 2. Add your flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda into your mixing bowl. Mix well. 3. Grate in your frozen butter. 4. Add in your honey & mix well. Just enough that the butter is distributed throughout the dough. 5. Slowly work in your buttermilk until you have a nice clumpy dough. Then pour it onto a lightly floured surface. 6. Mold it into a dough with your hands trying not to overwork it. 7. Once it’s a nice dough. Roll it out to about an inch thick. Then fold it onto itself. Repeat the process three times. 8. Use a lightly greased cutter to cut out your biscuits making sure to press straight down don’t twist. 9. Add your biscuits to a lightly oiled tray & throw them in the freezer for 5-10 mins. 10. Bake at 425F for 20-25 mins. Until they’re nice & golden brown. Serve with jam/gravy & enjoy babe!
