We are developing a multilingual AI-powered voice agent/chatbot for the institution website that allows students to interact in their native languages and get instant answers to routine queries such as admission details, fee deadlines, scholarship forms, timetable updates, and examination schedules. The chatbot is designed to understand Hindi, English, and multiple regional languages, ensuring accessibility for all students, including those who are not comfortable with English. If the AI is unable to resolve a query, it seamlessly redirects the session to a human representative. Using browser-based WebRTC technology, the representative can join the conversation in real time, and the user continues receiving support directly in the same browser window - without requiring additional apps or tools. The system also ensures context-aware conversations, meaning students can ask follow-up questions naturally, and the voice agent/chatbot will maintain the flow of dialogue.
