A student exchange at BI, Norwegian school of Business in Oslo

As a student at Concordia's John Molson school of Business, I was given the opportunity to study abroad in a partner university for the duration of a semester. I stayed in Oslo for almost 6 months, met amazing new friends and discovered places I never thought of going. Although I have visited 11 countries in total. ( Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, UK, Ireland, Northern Ireland, France, Switzerland, Portugal and Spain ) I have focused my video solely on Norway, first because 3 minutes is not even enough to show all of what this country has to offer, and second because it is in Norway that most of my experiences took place. BI Norwegian school of business was an amazing host. They created lots of events for us to get to know other exchange students, and the facilities were up to date with the highest standards of what a school can offer. Oslo was also an amazing host city. While the night were very long in January and Feb (barely 3 hrs of sunlight), the winter sport facilities and the ease to get to nature made winter so enjoyable. That being said, spring was welcomed with open arms. As days got longer, we could enjoy high 20 degrees almost everyday, with pleeenty of sun (+/- 21hrs!) I had the chance to go up in the Norwegian arctic twice. The first time with a groupe of (amazing) friends, and we got to see some unreal northern lights. The second time with my (amazing) girlfriend, where we got to experience full 24hrs days of sunlight. We then took the train to the fjords, where towering mountains meet the sea, creating the great fjords. All in all, it was an amazing time. Thank you to my parents who believed in this dream.
