For those of you who didnt know, they had some beef back in the day, over Akasha of course and it nearly resulted in Lestat’s death, which means we’d have no Louis or Claudia and the whole interview with the vampire thing would have never happened so, yeah it was a pretty important escape for lestat and probably the closest he ever came to death up until Louis and Claudia, ironically.
