Make an EASY Lone Star Quilt Pattern | No Y Seams!

I have a bucket list of quilt patterns I want to make one day. The Lone Star quilt pattern just happens to be on that list. One thing holding me back has always been that the Lone Star Quilt Pattern is traditionally pieced using Y seams, and that just isn't a skill I currently possess. One day I will learn how to create Y seams... today just wasn't the day! I hope you have just as much fun making this easier Lone Star quilt pattern as I did! Fabric Requirements Background Fabric: 4.5 yards Star Fabrics: (6) 1.25 yards Cutting Star Fabrics: (12) 3.5"xWOF strips from each fabric Background Fabric: (4) 26" squares cut along the diagonal once (A) (4) 19" squares cut along the diagonal once (B) This quilt will measure approximately 87"x87" without a border. I plan to add a thin border of background fabric and a wider print border to make this a king size quilt.
