It's occasional some railfanning trips don't go as planned, but most of them lead to unexpected surprises along the way! On February 22th, we set out for a day-trip up in the area of Galesburg Illinois. The weather may have not been the best, as there were some strong, cold winds, but the rail action lined up that day was about to get busy. In fact, we got to see a wider variety of rail action than we thought! From Amtrak trains to heavy freight drags with DPU's, this video will tell a detailed story of our experience trackside during our trip.
