In the first video I took a look inside the T1000FC and was reasonably satisfied with its design and construction. This time I wire it up and take a look at its operation on the bench. Here are some pro's and cons observed to date: Pro's: it's cheap and well made it could well be a great bit of insurance against crashing or losing a model Cons: the instructions are terrible - woefully lacking. the mode-switching system is confusing, undocumented and unintuitive the unit has a much higher brownout voltage than most 2.4GHz receivers Stay tuned for part 3 when I flight test the unit and we see if it really will save your model from flying away.
