Doors Open at Toronto TTC Danforth Garage 5/24/2025

As part of Doors Open Toronto, TTC opened their Danforth Garage to the public. It opened in the mid-1910s as a streetcar facility, then converted to a bus garage in 1966. Operations ceased in 2002, but the facility now has an office for subway operations. The vehicles on display was a restored 1982 GM New Look, two brand new electric buses built by New Flyer and Nova Bus (XE40 and LFSe+), a maintenance vehicle and a Wheel-Trans vehicle. I go in-depth of the vehicles on display in a second video, which I’ll post tomorrow.
