Twelve years ago, out of the blue, Al poked his head into my office. Who would imagine an elderly, frail man would become my hero, inspiring me to reach out beyond the four walls of my office. I’ve never told the story on YouTube behind why I am here sharing mental health videos. It might be quite different than you expect. Al and I worked together for many years and although he did not look for help until his seventies, he made significant progress. I was grief-stricken when Al died. I made my first videos in honor of Al, as a form of grieving, and hired my first video editor, Jay to put them on YouTube.
