Here's a little history about PSP CFW. Last time, CFW's for the PSP are famous because you can actually fully control your PSP, develop your own apps, run homebrew apps, run unsigned apps, and many more on it. But those CFW's are sometimes PERMANENT and can brick your PSP if it failed to install. You also can't install official updates on it when you are on that CFW. Install the official firmware on your PSP with custom firmware on it forcefully and it will brick your PSP. Brick wasn't a problem on old PSP's because you can actually revive it with a tool called Pandora and Magic memory stick. Newer PSP with TA-088v3 motherboards and above have encrypted bootloader and the new motherboard has it's own IPL so Pandora/Magic memory stick won't work anymore and install a permanent CFW on it and you have yourself a bricked PSP. With this Hack/CFW , you won't have the risk for having a bricked PSP because this hack only requires a official update and it will only install aftermarket modules, not gonna replace any existing system files on flash0, and runs as temporary hack, which means it wears off when you shut down your PSP.
