Runway28 1000 Subscribers; Thank You For Watching

After a long time of hard work on the content of this channel, Runway28 has gotten to the point where over 1000 people follow the channel. Just 1000 people from all over the world who admire your work and want to stay informed about it. I can't imagine that yet, because it sounds like a dream that is far away but is currently happening right in front of my eyes. I sincerely want to say the words “thank you” to all the people who have started following my channel in recent years. This result would not have been possible without you, because of your likes, comments and sometimes the sufficient criticism, I could not have found the motivation to build this channel to what it is today. The history of the content of my channel started in 2014, when I once captured a short video of a Sukhoi Su-30 of the Russian Air Force in Kazakhstan with my Nikon camera. This video was my first upload on YouTube. Now more than six years later, this video has been viewed over 160,000 times. This was a trigger in which I realized that people do like to watch these movies. First I bought my first film camera in the form of a Sony AX33 just before I was going on a dream trip to Japan in 2019. Without any knowledge I started working with it, and besides photography, I also started making videos in the country of the Rising Sun. To truly transition from photography to film, I needed a turning point in my own life. At the beginning of 2020, I was forced into a burnout. I personally had never sunk this deep. Where I was deeply absorbed in myself, something new also emerged. After a time of rest to recover, I started actively learning how to edit videos. The project I had previously shot in Japan was going to be my first material that I would produce as a filmmaker. When I got more energy in the recovery process from the burnout, I often went out with the camera in my own living environment (Gilze-Rijen, Eindhoven, Oirschot and Volkel). Here, as I recovered, the hobby revived. I still take a lot of photos, but my love for making videos really started here. So now a year later I make more videos than photos. In short, a black page in my own life, read the burnout, was also a seed that is planned for my new life. "If it doesn't kill you, it makes you stronger" is the saying here, and that's quite true in my case. Now we are one year further and I have a lot of fun shooting film at the airbase. You see it moving, it makes a sound and you experience the “Airpower” every time again when you watch a movie. In the future I will continue with this channel and I hope you can appreciate all my work that I publish here. I already have a lot of plans to make new material in the new year and plan to expand the equipment so that I can make even better film. For now, thank you all for watching and maybe we'll see each other at the runway of any airfield somewhere in the world. Kind Regards, Alex van Noije www.runway28.nl
