Easily the best of the 991 range if you couldn't afford the perfection GT3 Touring, the Carrera T was light, engaging, and very fast for its modest power - the very best of 911 performance. Now, we've got a new Carrera T. At 3,254 lbs it's still relatively light, but that's mostly due to the availability of a lighter manual gearbox with a base model engine (the only way you can get the 7MT). The signifncance of the T in this generation is that it unlocks a lot of options that you can't otherwise get in a base-model car. These options, such as PASM, Limited-Slip Differential, Manual Gearbox, rear-seat delete, and Carbon Bucket Seats, contribute to superb handing ability and dynamics at a somewhat (relatively speaking) reasonable price.
