I'm a huge fan of NeoFPS, I believe it is the best FPS controller on the Unity Asset Store. In this video I set myself a limit of 3 hours to create a prototype game with only Unity and NeoFPS. Edited down it's around 25 minutes from an empty project to a fully playable, though simple, FPS prototype with custom weapons, basic AI, ammo and health drops and more.
