A visit to the Motorhome and Caravan Show at the NEC Birmingham, October 2024. First on my fantasy shopping list is the Vantage F-Line Ora. The F-Line is new to Vantage, based on the Ford Transit chassis. Vantage Motorhomes is a small outfit in the UK specialising in premium hand-built product. I prefer the Ora layout as I like the front lounge which makes up into a huge double bed. Globe Traveller is another premium camper van and panel van converter based in Poland. Their top-of-the-range vans are incredibly well made. What’s attractive about the Explorer is the enormous rear bed with space for bikes in the garage beneath, and the smaller front lounge which gives you more floor space to move around. Eriba Touring caravans are EV friendly as their pop-top roofs lower when being towed to minimise drag and maximise fuel efficiency. The Touring 542, together with its larger sibling the 642, offers a huge double bed. The Xplore XC range is an ideal caravan for newcomers and downsizers alike. It has a fantastic specification for an incredible price. It’s the idea caravan for first-time buyers and comes in 3 layouts. We look at the Xplore XC Duo because it offers a huge front double bed (or two singles ).
