Intro to OverView video magazine

From January 1987 this is the beginning of what was supposed to be the first issue of the first "magazine" about home video that came on a VHS tape instead of printed form. Unfortunately it only lasted two issues, and the 2nd issue apparently wasn't distributed widely and has been hard to find. (If anybody has it please let me know!) I eagerly bought the first issue when it came out and would have been a fan had it continued- it's got stuff about then-current video releases and a segment about home video cameras among other things. There's a segment from "The Video Watchdog" which has already been posted here, which was where I first learned about the evils of panning and scanning. The tape retailed for $4.99 (the average cost of a blank T-120 at the time) and had TV commercials throughout to subsidize the cost of the actual content, which ran about 95 minutes altogether. This part shows the intro graphics and greeting from Michael Nesmith (the tape was distributed by his Pacific Arts Video label), a commercial for CBS/Fox Video's Five Star Collection which aired often on TV at the time, and "video letters" which would have been a regular feature of the magazine had it continued (no YouTube in those days!) I'll be uploading some more segments from this; the numbers that appear at the top of the screen are markers telling you how many minutes into the tape you are; the cover had a table of contents with indications at how many minutes into the tape each part started. It would've been better had they issued this on laserdisc instead, but they probably wouldn't have been able to sell it as cheaply. There's only a couple acknowledgments on this tape of laserdisc's existence.
