It's Not a House in the Desert, but a House of the Desert | Ghost Wash House
The Ghost Wash House was inspired by desert “washes,” biomes that retain water and sustain life in arid regions, harmoniously integrating the home with the desert landscape. Parallel structures of patterned brick house public and private areas, connected by a large cantilevered roof that provides shade, rainwater collection, and support for solar panels. With ample indoor and outdoor spaces, including an independent pool house, the residence offers comfort and sustainability, reflecting a deep connection with the Sonoran Desert.
