Update on tonight's freeze and your Weekend.

Freezing temperatures overnight! We expect temperatures to fall below freezing between 2am and 3am and remain below freezing through 7am Friday. Scattered frost will also be possible. Friday will start sunny with temperatures climbing into the middle 50s by Noon. Clouds return Friday afternoon and highs will be in the lower 60s. The weekend looks great ahead of a cold front that will trigger a round of thunderstorms Sunday night. Highs will be in the 70s Saturday and Sunday. The storms coming in Sunday night could be strong with heavy rain, gusty winds, small hail and frequent lightning. We don’t expect an outbreak of severe weather. The atmosphere will be lacking instability and most of the storms could be elevated in nature. For now it’s just something to keep n eye on. We expect about ½” to 1” of rain Sunday night. A nice and quiet weather pattern next week.
