This grant funded the initial phase of the project, which involved a series of concerts and workshops in rural areas of Puerto Rico (Arecibo, Florida, Barceloneta, and Camuy) as part of a cultural impact and diversity mission to bring jazz exposure to Puertorican communities with limited access to the genre and create social-cultural-economic opportunities.
