So you've just bought Cities Skylines and it's your first time playing. How do you start a new city? In this quick, easy-to-follow beginners guide, I'll show you the BEST way to start a brand new city 100% vanilla. If you're an ABSOLUTE BEGINNER, we will go over the basics of the game, from the starting road layout to zoning, services and how to make money in Cities Skylines. We will go over the first few milestones and what to do when you unlock each one. This tutorial applies to both PC and console players, but I am playing on a PC so some things may be different if you're on PS4, Xbox, Switch, etc. I have a few visual mods installed to make the game look more visually appealing, but the gameplay itself is 100% vanilla base game.
