➤Aphelion is a Raw Black Metal band from the Great Plains and Ozark areas of the US. It consists of KD (vocals), who pulls double duty as both a vocalist for several other bands and a freelance artist (Dahmer Art), ZV (drummer) who is a welder, and BT (guitar) who is an educator. Aphelion has drawn comparisons to everything from Darkthrone to Celtic Frost, but Aphelion maintains a uniqueness thanks largely to KD’s “caustic”and “seething” vocal style, ZV’s pummeling yet dynamic drumming, and BT’s cold and raw riffs.
