West Kirby Station is located at the end of the line from Birkenhead North and ultimately Liverpool Central on the Merseyrail Network. Merseyrail operate services from here with services doing circular services via Liverpool city centre and back here to West Kirby; these operate up to four times a hour Mon- Sat and twice a hour on Sunday's At the time of filming services were operated using Class 507 and Class 508 Electric Multiple Units, with these set to be replaced by Class 777 Electric Multiple Units from the end of 2022
