COTTAGE GARDEN FLOWERS: Foxglove, Larkspur, Columbine! // Linda Vater

It’s always nice to have a second act. And this year the front garden is happily meeting my expectations! The self-seeders in my garden have really outdone themselves this spring and just keep on coming! I tried to share some tips on growing foxglove, feverfew, larkspur, columbine, chamomile and others from seed. Both self sown and scattered throughout the landscape. As soon as I stop trying to force them to grow where they didn’t want to…and let them grow where they felt comfortable, I had a much greater success. Some years are better than others of course!
