The fishing village Marsaxlokk is one of the most memorable places of my recent trip through Malta. Among the coves of N.Malta, the turquoise waters of Comino and the remote cliffs of Gozo, this village was a great first impression of the country. Marsaxlokk is a fish lovers heaven and the place contains 70% of Malta's fishing fleet. Thus the concentration of fish restaurants and bistros are impressive.
