Planning & Building Union Station

NOTE: This model railroad video is not intended for anyone under 14 years of age due to the use of small parts, dangerous tools, electrical items, glues, and paints. This is the first video in the series of three. It is an overview showing how the Union Station main building, the passenger waiting room over the tracks, plus the cover over the passenger platforms were designed and 3D printed for my layout. The design of these N Scale structures was based upon the actual Kansas City Union Station and modified to fit the available space. The printer used, an XYZPrinting da Vinci mini, was the first one that I had and was purchased back in 2017 and was retired last year when I got an Anycubic Vyper. All of the structures were printed using PLA. The next video in this series will be posted next Saturday, 8 April, and will provide a similar overview of the design and 3D printing of the REA Express complex adjacent to Union Station.
