Wonder Woman is regarded as one of the most important and iconic superheroes of all time, which includes a catalog of characters from both Marvel and DC Comics. She is without a doubt the most recognizable female superhero, yet most average fans have very limited knowledge of her mythos—especially her supervillains. While many can easily name a variety of adversaries for Justice League members like Superman, Batman, The Flash, and even Green Lantern, Wonder Woman’s rogues' gallery remains relatively obscure. Cheetah, Circe, Ares, Silver Swan, and Doctor Psycho are among the few who have been adapted to serve as antagonists in various media. The DCEU/Zack Snyder era of DC had Wonder Woman face off against Ares, while James Gunn’s first canonical project in the new DCU, Creature Commandos, features Circe as a threat to the Creature Commandos.
