The purpose of this series is not to scare or frighten. As such, some of the music included in these uploads may not frighten or scare you. I chose what songs to include because they inspire feelings and thoughts in me that make me uneasy. They DISTURB me, as it were. Tread lightly, viewer. Everyone knows LISA is fucked up. It's like a big fucked up lasagna made out of all its special layers of fuckedupedness. Sometimes it seems like the entire game is based around the central theme of "things happening against one's will", and it's curious that as terrifying as the Joy Mutants are, they almost serve as a subversion of it. Hm... maybe it would be more accurate to describe the central theme as "imposing one's will". Ah, I don't know. It's a game that delves into human nature. You know, the most contradictory, ever-shifting thing on the planet. Part of what makes Joy Mutants so nightmarish from an existential standpoint (beyond the simple freaky nature of the physical mutations) is a combination of how little is known about them and the small about we DO know. They act only on their deepest desires, until they're "placated". The dark side of a human soul distilled into a brainless animal. All there is to do is put them down, while they-- and possibly you-- cry. And scream. What else is there? but that's just a theory a ga-- Charmy bites your head off. Poltergust5000 is dead!
