Roof Renovation Part 3 – Nearing the Finish Line! 🏰✨ We’re in the home stretch of our French château roof renovation! While we enjoyed a stretch of good weather, the rain eventually arrived — but this is France, and the incredible roofing team kept pushing forward, rain or shine. The big milestones? The Velux skylights are now installed, flooding the rooms with beautiful natural light and transforming the once-dark attic spaces. The new roof tiles are securely fixed onto the wooden battens, eliminating past issues with slipping tiles and leaks — all while preserving the classic look of the original roof (minus the thick moss blanket!). We’re thrilled with the craftsmanship and dedication of our roofing crew, led by the talented Tom and supported by Max, Finn, Flynn, Anton, and their fearless leader Karl. Their professionalism, skill, and positive energy have turned this massive renovation into an enjoyable experience.
