Halls of Torment is a terrific blend of Vampire Survivors and Diablo. I have been having a blast with this game, so I thought it would be a good idea to make a guide on how to get into and enjoy Halls of Torment for brand new players. In this guide for complete beginners to Halls of Torment, I will start a brand new account and walk you through the basics of the controls, the UI, and tips and tricks to help you thrive in the beginning of the game and learn how to do some basic unlocks, level up, and make your account stronger. This guide is mostly spoiler-free, meant only to help you learn the fundamentals so you can explore and enjoy the surprises Halls of Torment offers on your own. I am not going to tell you the ultimate build, the faster way to unlock everything, but rather tell you what I pick and why, so that you can play along or watch to hear my thought process and see how everything is done within the flow and context of an actual game.
