Reading the Room

The Cambridge Latin Course presents a core value of reading stories to acquire language. Sometimes, for both teachers and students, it can be overwhelming to look through a whole stage of stories and wonder how to get through them if you are overwhelmed by content or confused if you come from a grammar-translation background. Stefanie Gigante will guide you through the stories together, envisioning how you can make the stories come alive for your students, and how you can pace your classes to maintain positivity and engagement in the storyline. We'll look at a stage from each of Units I, II, and III and discuss options for reading those stories thoroughly with your students.
