Here's how I hand-sewed the pink 1950's coat I've been dreaming of for ages! After wearing it a fair few times, I've learned that it looks extra fantastic with a belt... My sewing methods aren't exactly standard, so my coat isn't quite how a tailor would make it. But I don't consider that to be historically inaccurate at all! If I was living in another era, I would probably still make clothes my own way. Different people find certain methods harder or easier, and this is how I like to sew.
