Singer Jaël opposes this trend with her new song "Done with Fake". Not the mask, but the true self with all its shortcomings should be the focus. So Jaël presents herself in the new video at the beginning as a perfectly made-up woman flirting with the camera. But in the course of the song she literally "drops her mask". At the end of the video, her superimposed smile has also disappeared. "I want to stand by my feelings and not always have to pretend that everything is perfect. That's not what it is," Jaël admits. The music video was shot by Swiss advertising and feature film director Luki Frieden. In his last film "Unser Kind" Jaël played a major supporting role. "The intimacy between us allowed Jaël to open up in front of the camera and show herself from a very vulnerable side," enthuses Frieden, who has also shot with such greats as Roger Federer, Lindsey Vonn and Joel Basman.
