Ashes of the Bullies was a song I've wanted to write for a long time. First of all because I know what it's like to be bullied when you move and start at a new school and don't want to live anymore because every day is a crappy day for me and a true joy for the bullies. Against all odds, I survived and it's now more than 40 years ago, but bullying is still a topic in 2025. It's so incredibly sad that we haven't come any further. The consequences of bullying are not only many unnecessary lives lost, but also many broken lives. Up until now I've only made songs for my self and for joy, but for this one I wanted to make a video and since I have zero knowledge of such things, this is what it turned into, but if it can both save lives and open the eyes of those who bully others, then it's worth a slightly crappy video too. I'm going to learn better how to do it so that future videos will be much better. "Ashes of the Bullies" is tribute to those who survived, and a voice for those who didn’t.
