Smothered by a GIANT Saint Bernard lapdog. Have to admit it's good company; especially on cold nights as she is a good hand and lap warmer. Shasta really loves me and it shows. Eventually, she falls asleep in my lap. I notice and feel the jerking motions she makes when dreaming. By the time she awakens, she's usually too hot and has to laydown somewhere to cool off or sleep it off. My dog sitter encouraged this behavior when I was on vacation for a month and now it's routine. They spoiled her. She is not supposed to be on the couch so now I place a large bed sheet over it so she can. It's leather so cleaing is easier. She's a really nice dog. The best I've even had and the smartest. I'll make another self-awareness video of her to prove she has self-recognition. Also have her doing a THUG LIFE skit I'll produce in the next month or so. She knows how to break in and out of homes, windows, and cabinets and steal stuff; even from other homes and properties. BAD Bad bad! Shasta is VERY emotionly sensitive and I have to be careful when scolding her when she does bad things. I never strike her but do yell. Her face just crumbles when I do, but I remind myself that she does these bad things only because of her separation anxiety and that she's a dog.
