Tonight we actually touched a Tasmanian Devil! In this vlog we're exploring a popular part of Tasmania, Cradle Mountain, and it got a bit crazier than we'd planned! For one, this is THE spot to learn about and pat Tasmanian Devils, secondly it's the perfect place to slow down and relax without the chaos, third wombats, and fourth (this list could be way longer by the way haha) there's some really cool walks that don't need to be full scale hikes! Our time in Cradle Mountain was an amazing way to end the trip. We stayed at Cradle Mountain Hotel: https://www.cradlemountainhotel.com.au/ and loved every second of it! It's about as close to the National Park as you can get and not far from Devils At Cradle to get up close and personal with Tasmanian Devils - https://devilsatcradle.com/ Inside Cradle Mountain National Park we did the Marions Lookout hike and it was a little sketchy if you're not into a small bit of incline off roading. But there's other much more chill walks like The Enchanted Walkway or even just going in to explore around Dove Lake, so if you're reading this because you're a bit worried if Cradle Mountain is beyond your limits, or a bit too far into the extreme hiking range, fear not! It's definitely still worth the visit, and you can take the shuttle down to pretty much the entrance of where the Wombats hangout and see them within a few minutes of walking. It feels like being tucked away in a remote ski field, surrounded by beautiful scenery with panoramic views.
