Kuriat Island Monastir | Tunisia

I take a trip to Monastir in Tunisia in the video where we board a “pirate” boat and visit the island of Kuriat. We swim and have fun in the clear waters of the Mediterranean. After a long bus ride, we arrive at the port in Monastir, we board the boat the Sultan II and head out to sea. The boat is made to look like a pirate boat and is used mainly for entertainment trips and turs in the summer. It takes about 45 mins to arrive at the smaller of the Kuriat Islands. Where we all got on the smaller boats and went to the island in groups. The island itself is very small but also beautiful, with great beaches and very clear water. We all had a great time swimming and enjoying the water the best we could have. We had lunch and more swimming. After a day on the island we all hopped on the smaller boat to return the “Pirate” boat. There was entertainment on board as the crew led the group in dancing and some dare devil acts. We also saw some commercial fish farming on the way back to port. Once back in Monastir we had a small walk about where we saw the Rabit of Monastir and the impressive Bourguiba mausoleum.
