Alex and Reyes can be seen attempting to fix an electrical problem on the Endurance, bickering all the while. The video cuts to Angus Grimaldi as he recalls the night he was forced to give a mysterious loch 'monster' the 'ol Glasgow Kiss'. Sam accidentally records a glimpse of Reyes and Roth together giving a subtle hint as to their relationship with each other. Footage then cuts to Dr. James Whitman's television documentary as Sam records filler of Whitman attempting to fillet a fish, unsuccessfully. The ensuing hissy fit is also caught on camera. Sam promises to make Whitman look like Gordon Ramsay in editing. The final part of the video diary records a conversation between Roth and Lara discussing Lara's uncertainty at finding Yamatai. The dialogue indicates that Lara's father is deceased, supposedly a man that ran on instinct - for better or worse...
