Digits built the first AGL - agentic general ledger - so you don’t need to add other tools on top of Digits, which automates booking transactions & reconciliations. 18:47: Difference between Intuit AI (& other legacy G/L software) & Digits AI technologies: Object-oriented database; every aspect of the transaction is known within Digits; it’s not AI layered on top of decades-old code; built with AI from the ground-up. 23:11: Demo All accountant users get a free account for their firm & also access to a “dummy” firm to test everything out & see how it works! 25:04: How do I get my data in here? 🤔 Where is my history coming from? You can connect your QBO file & it pulls everything over through that date. 30:22: Q: how does Digits handle the subtleties of categorization? A: Digits learns from past transactions & asks about anything that is unclear. As the model gets trained, there is less human intervention & review needed. 33:23: Q: What about start-up costs; knowing what needs to go on the B/S as opposed to the P&L? A: At first, Digits will ask & then will learn more over time. 36:18: Q: How can we review transactions? A: Digits knows its confidence level & will ask you to review anything else. It will ask about similar transactions & give you an opportunity to re-categorize. Can also ask clients directly in Digits & they’ll get an inbox item with questions. 39:43: Reconciliations Digits can read bank statements & determine the correct account; several ways to get them in 43:23: Q: when Digits sees something on the statement but saying it’s not in the books, is it actually looking at the whole books or just the bank account? A: Unsure; will follow up 44:07: Q: Can you attach receipts? Can receipts be sent to custom email address & will they be attached to the transactions? A: Yes to all & they will be matched to the ledger based on the receipt. 46:52: Q: how well does the conversion from QBO to Digits work? A: It brings over everything (besides attachment files) — all transactions, categories, etc. & validation to make sure it matches. 47:30: Fully customizable category manager (COA) 49:43: Q: How robust are subledgers A/R & A/P? A: We have full A/R & A/P aging; if you use bill pay systems, all of that flows in. We also have native bill pay & invoicing built in too. A: Client can add as many users as they want. Accountant can add the client. 1:18:58: Q: What’s the cost? A: Two plans for clients - Core & Essentials. As an accounting firm, also partner-specific tiers: low-volume tier is $10/mo. Annual tax write-up is $25/mo. Some limitations here. More comprehensive plan is $35/mo. 1:23:03: Q: Does Digits read the receipts to categorize to the correct account? A: It uses AI to determine category, not the receipt. 1:25:31: Q: Is there 1099 tracking? Will we be alerted to request W-9?
