The UNCF Mayor’s Masked Ball 2025, which took place on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the Sheraton Hotel, was an evening of elegance and impact that guests wouldn’t soon forget! This premier fundraising event not only supported scholarships for deserving students but also provided a unique opportunity to mingle with prominent figures from the local area, UNCF national leadership, college presidents, community leaders, and service organizations. Attendees enjoyed exclusive photo opportunities and immersed themselves in a night filled with inspiration and purpose. As we celebrated the theme, “A mind is a terrible thing to waste, but a wonderful thing to invest in,” attendees helped create pathways to higher education, empowering students to achieve their dreams while uplifting entire communities. The evening also recognized distinguished honorees, including Bob Dickerson, Mrs. Dickerson, and the late Mr. Robert "Coach Dick" Dickerson, Carol McEleheney, Linda Verin, and Rickey Smiley.
