FACEBOOK: / danielsgamevault ------- Watch the original v1.0 contraption: • Algodoo Marble Run/CD Machine [HD] ------- Some of you may know that a while back I did a video of a silly contraption I made in Algodoo, that physics simulation game which lets you create your own crazy gadgets and machines. I didn't expect too much from that vid, but it turned out to be highly successful, earning over 1000 views overnight and against all expectations it continued to grow until it became my No.1 most popular video on Youtube EVER, scoring more hits than even some of my Mario videos - WOW ! Not that long ago, mostly out of boredom, I started playing around with Algodoo again and since I still had the original machine saved on a CD somewhere (because it took a lot of work to make), I decided to load it up, tweak it some more and see just how big I can make it. So after about a week of work, it grew into the contraption you see in the video. I didn't remove any parts of the original version - I only added more stuff around that. Just like last time, I couldn't decide whether it should be a "CD machine" or a "ball machine", so I compromised by adding both :)) I tried to keep it as realistic as possible, although being a 2D game, there are certain parts that simply wouldn't work in real life because they blatantly violate the laws of physics, such as objects passing through one another, or the lack of friction in some parts, but that's actually what makes Algodoo so fun: the fact that you can make your own rules and make a world that bows before you. Let me know if I nailed it or failed it with the music this time, and if you need any help with the game, feel free to comment and ask questions. Also, if you saw a part of the level that you think I didn't cover, you can ask about it. Remember that Algodoo is all about having fun and breaking the laws of physics and the bounds of what's normally possible, so enjoy :D
