Often regarded as a jazz standard, it features a fast, syncopated rhythm and was famously covered by jazz artists like Hank Mobley on his 1965 album Dippin'. Wave "Wave" (also known as "Vou Te Contar" in Portuguese; lit. transl. "I am going to tell you") is a bossa nova and jazz standard song written by Antônio Carlos Jobim.
