The recent news of Amazon backing federal cannabis legalization and discontinuing their cannabis drug testing policy will tilt the scales in our favor for the global cannabis freedom movement. Let’s hope this is a good indication that Amazon is taking conscious steps in caring for their employees and creating healthier workplace environments. I guarantee Amazon will see an increase in productivity now that employers have no fear of losing their jobs as a result of their cannabis consumption use. And how about re-hiring ex-employees who were terminated due to testing positive for cannabis? I challenge Amazon to do even better and to support the worldwide production of hemp and that they use this resource as an integral part of their company’s sustainability plan to further reduce their carbon footprint. The world would be better off if they switched to hemp instead of petroleum and trees. Imagine what could be possible?
