This is a quick demo using the 6700 in a pileup. Programs include SSDR with DAX from Flex, SDR-Bridge which is a program that smartly joins CW skimmer to SSDR from W2RF, and of course CW Skimmer from VE3NEA. I do not use skimmer to copy the DX, but to rather develop a list of stations in the pileup. This way as I listen to the DX work stations I know where in the pileup he is listening. I can watch his natural pattern of working the pileup and generally easily deduce where he is most likely to move next, get in his head as it were, and put my transmitter in his way. I spend very little time just banging away. The station tonight is TX5EG out on Huahine Is in French Polynesia. I find click tuning my transmit slice far more efficient than using a knob for working DX. It is so effective I'm not sure I could even use a knob radio any more for DXing 73 W9OY
