Tara in Northern Nevada right now we've got median home prices that aren't really on the same level as median family incomes. What options do people have--families have--to buy a home these days? Well we've got some great financing options for first-time homebuyers. We've got some down payment assistance options and as little as 3% down and in some cases in some areas 100% financing. So in addition to families struggling to afford housing what about the kids that just graduated from college? What types of programs are available for them? With as little as one pay stub and a hire letter and a verification that they've gotten the job in their field of study we could help them purchase a home right away. Right away? Right away. With one paycheck stub. Yeah. Amazing! Tara folks have a lot of options when it comes to choosing a mortgage lender here in Northern Nevada. What makes Big Valley Mortgage better than some of the rest? So we've got on-staff underwriters in house so I can pick up the phone and call them and go over situations with them. I can meet with them in person and they definitely look to think outside of the box and help us come up with solutions to help get more buyers into homes. We've also got a credit committee that meets daily and that credit committee is comprised of senior underwriting and they come together and and help us maybe with a lower credit score borrower and in cases possibly on like a VA loan or something like that help a buyer get into a home that maybe wouldn't qualify otherwise.
